Pegasus Airlines hull claim costs aviation market $48mn

  • Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) and La Réunion Aérienne (LRA) jointly lead the aviation hull policy for a Boeing 737-800 that skidded off the runway and over a cliff in north-eastern Turkey, The Insurance Insider can reveal.

    The aircraft was declared a total loss and the aviation hull policy paid out a total of $48mn, The Insurance Insider understands.

    Following markets on the JLT-brokered policy are understood to include Chaucer and Antares.
