AIG mulls Australian M&A: report

AIG is said to be looking closely at insurance assets of Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), following CEO Brian Duperreault's pledge in May to pursue growth.
According to a report in The Australian Financial Review, AIG is interested in acquiring CBA's general insurance business.
It comes a day after Bloomberg suggested AIG had held abortive talks to buy Voya Financial in the US for a potential $10bn.
