Perils lifts Debbie loss estimate to $1.3bn

Data aggregator Perils has increased its tally for the damage caused by last year's Cyclone Debbie by just under 5 percent to A$1.74bn ($1.34bn) in its fourth and final estimate.
The estimate compares with an A$1.66bn estimate from Perils as of 28 September.
Debbie hit the Australian states of Queensland and New South Wales from 28 March 2017 until early April, killing 14 people and causing extensive windstorm and flood damage.
