Hurricane Irma: P&C (re)insurance stock impact

As this year's hurricane season continued to show strong momentum with Hurricane Irma following shortly after Hurricane Harvey, investors grew increasingly wary of the P&C (re)insurance industry suffering the possibility of three-digit billion dollar losses and reacted accordingly.
Excluding Floridian carriers and focusing on companies within our core coverage, Bermudian (re)insurers emerged as the most impacted in the stock market throughout the first two weeks of September as the industry struggled to assess Hurricane Irma's course and its consequences.
